Starting salary for Level 3 qualified is £18,357 per annum (£26,840 FTE)
Starting salary for Level 2 qualified is £17,477 per annum (£25,210 FTE)
Starting salary for Nursery Assistant is £16,806 per annum (£24,242 FTE)
We are seeking to recruit a Level 2 or 3 Nursery Nurse, or a Nursery Assistant, to work across all ages within nursery. The successful candidate will assist with the care and development of children and will be expected to work afternoons from 12pm to 5.45pm Monday to Thursday and 12pm to 5.15 pm on Fridays, totalling 28.25 hours per week.
Our Nursery is primarily for the use of staff at the Babraham Institute. The Babraham Institute is a charity, which is world-renowned for its research in life sciences that leads to new medicines and treatments for human diseases. Babraham Nursery was opened in September 1990 and operates from a large house situated in a quiet corner of a residential area in the grounds of the Institute. It has a homely atmosphere and is surrounded by green fields and woods. It has a large enclosed garden with climbing frame, pathways and grassed areas.
Nursery accommodates up to ninety children on the Early Years register aged from 6 weeks to 5 years and operates a separate after-school club and holiday club for school-aged children at the local school.
