About The Role
The Sub Agent will lead and control delivery for multiple sections of works, including specific packages associated with the Sizewell C Rail scheme.
What you'll be doing
Implement and optimise the construction methodology, cost and programme for the packages within the section.
Manage and monitor internal resources and sub-contractors to ensure works are completed to programme, budget, specifications and handed over to the client.
Manage a team of Section & Site Engineers within same discipline to satisfy customer/project requirements, objectives and constraints.
Review and understand drawings and 3D models of permanent and temporary works within the section.
Lead the site team to maintain a detailed and accurate site diary.
Who we're looking for
* Ideally a Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience
* Able to demonstrate a track record ideally within both civils work and the rail sector
* Understanding of engineering principles, with knowledge of construction practices and sequencing methodologies
* Confident in managing sub-contractors, focusing on both technical and commercial aspects, maximising efficiency and ensuring delivery aligns with programme requirements
* Experience in drafting and implementing safe systems of work
* Proficient in commercial/project management communications
* Currently holds a valid PTS Sentinel competence
* Holds a current driving licence
The Following Qualities/experience Are Desirable
* Experience of working in a wide range of multidisciplinary projects and environments (site mobilisation, roadworks, traffic management, utilities interface)
* Advanced understanding of the standard forms of contracts, ideally the NEC suite
* Member of a professional management body i.e. ICE, APM
* Holds a current CSCS card
* Holds an AP Lifting certification
