We are looking for a dependable, dedicated and flexible Field Technician to join our UKAS accredited Materials team. As a member of Materials, it is key that you are able to thrive in a team environment, as well as independently. The fundamental part of the role is to determine the physical properties of a wide range of materials including concrete, earthworks, aggregates and bituminous mixtures to ensure compliance with specifications.
The tasks you will undertake will include:
* Field-based testing of earthworks, concrete and Asphalt including Plate load, LWD, DCP, sampling
* Complete test reports
* Help in the laboratory when required
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
* Knowledge of field-based materials testing techniques
* Good time keeper
* Polite and respectful
