Our client, a tour operator specialising in educational school trips, is seeking an experienced School Travel Specialist to join their team. This role is Monday-Friday and either hybrid in Nottingham or fully remote and comes with a salary of up to £40,000 DOE plus commission.
School Travel Specialist responsibilities:
Follow up on sales leads and generate new opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers
Prepare costings and create bespoke quotes tailored to budgets and requirements
Follow up quotations and close sales effectively
Achieve personal revenue and margin sales targets
Support and promote new product development, including travel to destinations for research
Collaborate with the Tours Sales and Product Manager to identify new products and markets
School Travel Specialist skills required:
Previous sales experience in the outbound school trips sector
Strong commercial awareness and proven sales skills
Excellent team player with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
Ability to prioritize tasks, remain resilient, and handle pressure calmly
Additional information:
Salary up to £40k DOE plus comms
