Sourcing Specialist Contract position Location: Stafford Hybrid working: 3/2 office/home split Roles and Responsibilities • Support the Indirect Sourcing Team to identify, select and negotiate with suppliers to get most competitive offer. • Experience with majority if not all Indirect Commodities, MRO, FM, Professional Services, Labour, IT and Utilities. • Ensure all active suppliers are approved and compliant (Supplier Connect / Complyworks). • Enforce supplier strategy & Sourcing policies including management and optimization of supplier panels. • Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers. • Support budget planning and deliver Sourcing deflation and payment targets. • Negotiate terms and conditions. • Includes commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc. • Support the UK Indirect team to resolve Supplier issues / support any related Sourcing related execution issues. • Leads payment dispute resolutions • A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills. • Provides guidance to team members.
