Job Title: Patient Administrator
Location: Salford
Contract: Temporary (Until March 2026)
Part-time
Shifts: Saturday & Sunday, 8:00am - 6:00pm
Start Date: Immediate
Pay Rate: £12.21ph
Requirement: Must be able to pass a Standard DBS check
Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and organised Weekend Patient Administrator to join a busy healthcare team in Salford. This temporary role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a proactive approach to patient care coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the setup and preparation of weekend clinic sessions
Book patient transport via the portal
Perform general administrative tasks including photocopying
Prepare theatre documentation, including:
Consent forms
WHO checklists
Theatre outcomes
Histology form copies
Theatre cards
Patient feedback forms
ManageOSC (One Stop Clinic) bookings:
Book patients in using a pre-printed appointment list
If not ready for OSC, add to the theatre list for the following weekend and arrange transport/interpreter if needed
Record reasons for declining OSC as per Trust requirements
Process non-OSC patient pathways:
Receive completed slips from doctors indicating next steps (e.g., Photography, Biologics, referrals, PIFU, follow-up, or discharge)
Input details into the portal and follow Trust system procedures
Ideal Candidate:
Available to work weekends consistently until March 2026
Previously worked in a patient admin or medical secretary role
Able to start immediately
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
