Solihull has an exciting and exceptional job opportunity for an experienced and outstanding Residential Operations Manager Solihull Council are in the process of developing three small Residential Homes for Solihull Children to live within their locality. Two are operational with a third in progress, these “Gold standard’ homes will provide outstanding care to the children who live there. As Residential Operations Manager you will project manage the development of these homes and through strategic leadership and planning, help us shape the services we deliver to create an environment where children are able to thrive. In this high profile role, you will contribute to the development of an innovative programme that will link our fostering service with our residential homes to provide one seamless service to young people. In collaboration with partner agencies, we will wrap support around our children and young people, ensuring placement stability and continuity as they transition to family-based living. This programme will be able to offer resources that will support a variety of care plans allowing children to feel they are being supported by people who really understand their story. This is an exciting leadership challenge for a proactive and innovative individual with the appetite to help create, design and then run an amazing new service in Solihull. You must already be an Ofsted Registered Residential Care Manager with significant experience and knowledge of managing a residential children’s home. Able to work collaboratively and in partnership with a range of agencies you will be solution focussed, able to plan and deliver a new residential service for our children and young people, that is child focused and improves outcomes for our children.
