Construction Manager - Leiston, IP16, UK
Location: Sizewell C, site-based 5 days a week in Leiston, Suffolk (occasional weekend work will be required).
Contract: Permanent, full-time.
Salary: Competitive depending on experience, plus benefits.
Benefits include:
* Annual Leave: 28 days per annum, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of service, plus bank holidays.
* Bonus: Up to 5% annual bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Construction Manager, you’ll oversee the reconstruction of a key section of the SZC works. You’ll lead in ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Your role will encompass the entire construction lifecycle, including:
* Team Leadership: Leading and managing construction teams.
* Strategic Execution: Developing and implementing detailed construction strategies and plans.
* Project Oversight: Ensuring safety and quality in delivering projects into Sizewell C.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with contractors, regulators, and government bodies.
* Continuous Improvement: Driving innovation and lessons learned for world-class delivery.
Good knowledge of CDM Regulations and a proven track record of their implementation are required.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in regulated environments.
* Supervisory experience with Tier 1 contractors and teams.
* Leadership skills to inspire teams, resolve issues, and foster collaboration.
* Technical knowledge of construction methodologies, CDM Regulations, and earned value management tools.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Degree and chartered status in engineering, construction, or related field (desirable).
* SMSTS and CSCS site manager card are required.
