Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Haemato-oncology Nurse to advance their career within a nurse-led outpatient haemato-oncology service. This fixed-term position is available until 31st March 2026, covering a secondment.
The Collingwood Centre at Colchester Hospital is a day unit providing malignant and non-malignant treatments to Haemato-oncology patients. The unit relies on nursing expertise to assess and administer treatments safely and efficiently.
You should be competent in administering Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatments (SACT). In this role, you will expand your knowledge of SACT, develop leadership and communication skills, and gain valuable experience in a busy but supportive environment.
The post will be based within our unit, working hours Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 18:00.

You will support the ward sisters in leading and developing the nursing team. You will provide inspirational leadership, act as a role model, and possess strong communication, change management, and organizational skills.
