Role Overview
The Improvement & Transformation Team (ITT) at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a highly motivated and driven individual to support the delivery of improvement and transformation priorities for Bedfordshire Hospitals. We are looking for someone who is excellent at building relationships across a wide range of stakeholders, who will ensure projects have a sound improvement methodology and from this develop clear proposals and deliverable plans.
Key Responsibilities
The post holder will act as a role model for improvement, supporting both a culture and related work programmes that help embed an improvement mind-set with teams. Responsible for the leading of a number of projects associated with transformation and improvement across Bedfordshire Hospitals. The work plan may cover a number of areas where there is opportunity for meaningful, sustainable change, for example Urgent and Emergency Care and/or Elective Care. Work with a range of stakeholders including leadership teams, clinicians, key support functions, patients and other colleagues (internal and external) to support improvement and transformation programmes and the delivery of high quality, patient centred care. Provide improvement coaching and support to teams. Alongside this the Trust is currently implementing numerous initiatives to embed an improvement culture and this post holder with have opportunity be involved in driving this forward.
Location & Travel
Please note the post will involve travel across Bedford and Luton and Dunstable Hospital Sites.
