What you will do:
* Lead the team responsible for the product or portfolio strategy
* Guide others to deconstruct and extract the strategy from a well-written marketing plan
* Coach others on the market positioning and strengths/weaknesses of key competitors
* Share marketing intelligence and information with team
* Establish pricing strategy, including contract pricing
* Coach others on how to utilize the product or portfolio structure to maximize brand equity
* Demonstrate financial acumen
* Develop an effective KPI strategy for the business
* Supervise others in their use of data collection, analysis, and reporting tools
* Lead a team of professionals: develop employees, which includes hiring, communicating company policies, coaching and counseling, administering performance appraisals, and enforcing company policies through appropriate disciplinary measures
* Promote an environment that fosters personal growth and development
* Hold team accountable to deliver high quality results with passion, energy, and drive to meet business priorities
* Collaborate and influence others on cross-functional teams, advancing partnerships to achieve business objectives
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
* Bachelor’s degree required
* 8+ years of work experience required
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):
* MBA preferred
* 7+ years medical device or marketing/sales experience preferred
* 2+ years of people management experience preferred
* Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
* Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
* Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
