Are you enthusiastic about people and making a positive impact in the workplace? We are looking for a resolute and approachable HR Assistant to join our onsite HR Team. You will be a key support to both the HR Team and our operational colleagues, sharing your knowledge of HR best practice and providing a high level of service across all areas of the employee lifecycle. Highly organised with excellent diligence, you will use your previous experience to support a wide range of HR activities. This will include posting job adverts, managing applications, and supporting selection processes, issuing contracts, and onboarding documentation, and maintaining accurate and confidential employee records. You will also play a key role in payroll preparation and processing, responding to payroll-related queries each month, and always ensuring data accuracy. As development is a key priority for us, you will be involved in training administration and provide administrative support at every stage of the employee journey. Key responsibilities: Supporting the onsite People Team across all aspects of the employee lifecycle Managing recruitment administration, including job adverts, applications, and selection processes Preparing contracts, onboarding paperwork, and employee documentation Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records Supporting payroll preparation and responding to queries Assisting with training and development administration Providing consistent, customer-focused HR support to internal stakeholders Skills and experience: CIPD Level 3 qualification or above Previous experience in an HR administrative role Experience within a logistics or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential. Strong working knowledge of MS Office Excellent communication and organisational skills Experience using HRIS systems and producing reports (advantageous) Initiative-taking with a strong desire for personal development Good understanding of employment law High level of attention to detail Customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering a high standard of service.
