Responsibilities
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest quality standards
* Manage food preparation processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to health and safety regulations
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
* Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed
* Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times
* Will include some evening work as and when required plus weekend work
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting with at least 2 years experience working on a check based system.
* confident in scratch cooking
* Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentation
* A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
* Strong organisational skills with the capability to multitask effectively
* A relevant culinary qualification is preferred but not essential
