An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Support Officer to join the e‑rostering team. This pivotal administrative role provides essential support to the Safe Staffing Matron and contributes to the effective day‑to‑day management of the Trust’s electronic rostering system for Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals.
Responsibilities
* Support the Safe Staffing Matron and ensure staff are rostered effectively and safely.
* Contribute to the day‑to‑day management of the Trust’s electronic rostering system, supporting services to run smoothly and delivering high‑quality patient care.
* Partake in minute‑taking and meeting coordination, handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, taking initiative where appropriate and maintaining a high‑quality service.
* Maintain high standards of data quality and confidentiality, and support colleagues across multiple Trust sites as required.
Qualifications
* Strong administrative skills and organisational ability.
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ability to prioritise workload, work independently and communicate clearly and professionally.
* Experience of minute‑taking and meeting coordination.
* Knowledge of electronic rostering systems (e.g., HealthRoster) and experience within an NHS or healthcare setting is advantageous.
* Must be able to produce all certificates listed as essential in the person specification to complete pre‑employment checks.
