You will be working for a Benton based production company who specialise in providing their services to major household brands and companies nationally. The company is growing and needing to actively recruit meaning there is scope for longevity. You will be on a permanent back shift 14:00 – 23:00, Monday to Friday. Working at the Benton based site you will be part of a great team delivering high service levels in a faced paced environment. THE ROLE The position is a Machine Operative and some of your duties will include: Picking items off of a fast paced production line Check the quality of items on the production line Ensure the machine is clear and running correctly Placing the items from the production line into crates and ensuring the crates are wrapped, palletised and placed in the correct location for dispatch Following company processes and procedures at all times keeping in line with current Health & Safety policies Carrying out manual handling of goods Maintain high levels of housekeeping where necessary Work as part of a team focussed on achieving the business’ goals THE PERSON You will have a positive can-do attitude as the business prides itself on being different which is their competitive advantage. You will be punctual, reliable, show a strong work ethic and mature approach as a result of this.
