Job Description
3. Responsible for processing Purchase invoices
4. Responsible for Supplier statement reconciliation
5. Preparation of Payment runs to schedule
6. Responsible for issuing remittances and posting of payment journals.
7. Liaising with stakeholders and external suppliers
8. Responsible for the checking and processing of both within the system
9. Ensure that employees follow the company Expenses policy
10. Responsible for the preparation of fortnightly expenses payment runs
11. Ensuring company policy and processes are adhered to
12. Carry out AP/AR checks
13. Responsible for final bank reconciliation for each assigned company
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable professional should have:
14. Experience in accounts payable or a related role within accounting and finance.
15. Knowledge of financial systems and the ability to work with accounting software.
16. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
17. May have studied an accountancy qualification but not essential (AAT)
18. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
19. An understanding of the energy and natural resources industry is advantageous but not essential.
20. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
