If you are a former youth justice worker with less than 5 years since leaving HMPPS and have completed foundation training and probation, we invite you to consider rejoining us to support your former colleagues in maintaining prison and public safety. If you're not ready to return, join our Prison Service Alumni Network for updates and apply when suitable. We offer a simplified return process, eliminating the need for repeat assessments or training, with direct allocation to vacancies and subsequent medical, fitness, and employment checks. If no immediate vacancies are available, you'll be placed on a merit list, prioritized over external applicants when positions arise. A DBS check is required.
