Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Female Support Workers to join our team at Phillips Chase Service in March.
As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. Your responsibilities include assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support, playing a vital role in their lives.
What we're looking for:
* A genuine passion for supporting others.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
This role requires you to be a driver, as you will be providing domiciliary care in the area.
Contract options:
* Full-time: 37.5 hrs or part-time.
* Shift times: All our services are 24-hour care. Rota planning is done at least 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your personal and social life. Shifts include weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.
* Sleep-in shifts are available with an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70.
All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
