About the Role
As a Senior Project Coordinator for Central and Eastern Europe at the Thomson Reuters Foundation, you will:
* Support the effective delivery of the Foundation’s portfolio in Central and Eastern Europe, ensuring coherence of timelines, coordinating project activities, and aligning projects with TRF strategies.
* Provide support to project managers in vendor management, procurement, logistics, and financial administration.
* Assist in identifying risks and issues, escalating critical concerns, and developing mitigation strategies.
* Monitor project deliverables, collect data for MEAL, and contribute to quality control processes.
* Oversee budgets by monitoring expenses and collaborating with finance teams for compliance.
* Maintain relationships with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
* Collaborate closely with the regional project coordinators and provide support as needed.
* Assist in narrative and financial reporting, maintaining documentation, and providing status updates.
* Offer ad hoc support for projects outside the region if capacity allows.
About You
* Experience in managing complex donor-funded projects.
* Proficiency in narrative and financial reporting.
* Understanding of the Central and Eastern Europe region; experience in Caucasus/Central Asia is a plus.
* Strong organizational skills, project cycle management knowledge, and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Fluency in English; knowledge of Russian, Belarusian, Georgian, Romanian, or Ukrainian is an asset.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook; experience with Salesforce or CRMs is an advantage.
* This is a fixed-term contract until August 2026.
