Key Responsibilities
- Carry out visual inspections before part installation
- Fit components using detailed manufacturing instructions
- Work across multiple assembly cells (variety guaranteed)
- Prepare vehicles by removing equipment and completing surface prep (grinding/sanding)
- Integrate new systems, equipment, and components onto military vehicles
- Assemble sub‑components to tight production timelines
- Read and follow engineering drawings accurately
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance or a related mechanical discipline (Level 2 considered with strong experience)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle systems
- Ability to interpret drawings and follow technical instructions
- Experience in automotive, HGV, PSV, plant, agricultural, or military vehicles
- Electrical or mechanical qualifications (desirable)
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
