Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Manager to oversee our breakfast and lunch service operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests enjoy a delightful dining experience each morning. This role requires effective team management, food safety knowledge, and the ability to maintain high standards in food preparation and presentation.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the breakfast team to ensure efficient service and high-quality food production.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and standards.
* Manage inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
* Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, customer service, and hospitality best practices.
* Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
* Handle guest inquiries and feedback promptly to enhance overall dining satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a restaurant or hotel environment, with a focus on breakfast service preferred.
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
* Previous supervisory or team management experience is essential.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a commitment to fostering a positive team environment.
* Experience as a barista is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Strong communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
