As Fleet Workshop Supervisor, youll split your time between: Working in the workshop: inspections, diagnostics, repairs, servicing and maintaining a diverse fleet (HGVs, LGVs, vans and plant) to DVSA standards. Managing other aspects like: Service paperwork, compliance records, liaising with suppliers, developing staff, and working closely with our Fleet Workshop Administrator. The Fleet Workshop Supervisor role sits within the Fleet Operations team at Ubico. The role is key in effectively supervising and motivating a team of vehicle technicians to deliver outstanding service to internal and external customers. The role is hands on and you will be required to undertake periodic inspections, maintenance, repair and testing on a diverse fleet of vehicles and plant including heavy goods and light commercial vehicles to DVSA standards. You will need City and Guilds full craft certificate in HGV Vehicle Mechanics, or equivalent. Full valid, UK Driving Licence (or European equivalent) with LGV Category C entitlement. Have experience supervising, mentoring, or supporting a team (or is ready to take that step up). Enjoys being hands-on in the workshop while also staying organised with paperwork and suppliers. Works flexibly, positively, and takes pride in high standards of service.
