In our setting a Scheduler/ Care Planner is the vital cog in making sure carers are where they are supposed to be at the right time and their skills match the clients. They ensure client visits are covered and no one misses their care.
As a Scheduler/ Care Planner you will work closely with management and all other team members to ensure the end to end build of recruitment and runs is in sync. You will be the go to person for carers and therefore should have good interpersonal skills communicating at all levels within the organisation.
Key Skills
* A good understanding of the process of service delivery in a care at home setting
* Excellent attention to detail
* Logical and analytical with very good problem solving skills
* Experience of working with staff scheduling/rota systems.
* The ability to effectively manage relationships with Local Authorities, Healthcare professionals, Service Users and families
* The ability to lead and motivate a team
* Good verbal and written communication
What to expect...
* The post holder will be responsible for work allocations and risk assessing
* You will be a self starter able to work automously and proactively
* You will work Office hours Monday – Friday with additional on-call assistance.
* Successful applicants will be required to undertake a PVG Scheme Membership and to be registered with the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) within the first 3 months
* Driver's license and access to own vehicle is essential.
