New Pathways are a non-government organisation, offering specialist support services for anyone affected by sexual violence, whether recently or in the past. They are the largest provider of sexual violence support services in Wales, and the leading provider of specialist sexual violence training.

Sexual Violence Support Worker for Children and Young People

Location: 1 x location flexible with some home working available – to be discussed at interview

Hours: 3 days (including Fridays)

Salary: £24,525.21 pro rata

New Pathways are looking for a Sexual Violence Support Worker for Children and Young People who can provide practical and psychological support for young clients who have experienced sexual violence.

They are looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic, passionate about their work, and who wants to make a positive difference to the lives of others.

The post holder will be someone who likes to work as part of a team, has great organisational skills and good emotional intelligence. This is a challenging role but it is also one which brings considerable rewards.

Involve has a variety of schemes that engage people in need in Swansea. Involve recruit, train and support volunteers to be in a befriending/ Independent visitor role on a one to one or in a group setting to meet the needs of individual children, young people, families, adults with various needs or older people.

SCVS are governed by a Board of Trustees made up of representatives of local third sector organisations in membership, and co-opted people with specialist skills and experience, ensuring that the support we offer is relevant, needed and valued by the local sector.
