Assistant / Project Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Office Fit Out\n\nBirmingham / Midlands | Excellent Salary + Package\n\nA leading commercial interiors contractor is looking to appoint an Assistant / Project Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team delivering high-quality office fit-out projects across the Midlands and beyond.\n\nThis role will suit someone with around five years’ experience from a contractor background who is keen to continue developing within a supportive, collaborative environment. You’ll be working closely with a Contracts Manager and wider commercial team, gaining exposure to complex schemes and building long-term career prospects within a well-established business.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will play a key part in the day-to-day commercial management of projects, including:\n\n * \n\n Supporting procurement and placing subcontract orders\n\n * \n\n Cost control and reporting\n\n * \n\n Managing variations and change\n\n * \n\n Carrying out valuations and applications for payment\n\n * \n\n Assessing subcontractor accounts\n\n * \n\n Assisting with forecasting and final accounts\n\n * \n\n Liaising with project and site teams\n\n * \n\n Supporting the wider commercial function across projects\n\nThe Ideal Candidate\n\nYou will likely have:\n\n * \n\n Around 5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role with a contractor\n\n * \n\n Exposure to commercial office fit-out...
