Key Responsibilities: Manufacture high-quality furniture and joinery in accordance with detailed design specifications. Select and work with a wide range of timber, ensuring appropriate treatment and finishing techniques are applied. Operate various woodworking tools and machinery to achieve precise cuts, joints, and finishes. Collaborate with the design team to bring bespoke furniture concepts to life. Maintain a tidy and safe workshop environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols. Inspect and carry out repairs to furniture as required, ensuring all pieces meet quality standards. Contribute positively to a cooperative and supportive team culture. Candidate Requirements: Proven experience as a Bench Joiner, Cabinet Maker, or in a similar woodworking role. Competence in using a broad range of woodworking machinery and hand tools. Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing work of the highest quality. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when needed. Sound knowledge of timber types and their characteristics. Strong work ethic and reliability, with a focus on meeting deadlines. A team player with excellent communication skills. Experience with custom or bespoke furniture projects would be an advantage.
