We are working with a well-established industrial manufacturing business based in Elgin who are looking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimise their day-to-day operations.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring production runs efficiently, safely and cost-effectively while driving continuous improvement across people, processes and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all operational activity across production, planning, logistics and site operations
Lead, coach and develop operational teams to deliver high performance
Drive efficiency, quality and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental and regulatory standards
Manage budgets, KPIs and operational performance metrics
Work closely with senior leadership to support strategic objectives
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and improve output
About You
Proven experience in an Operations Manager (or similar senior operational) role within manufacturing or industrial environments
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
Solid understanding of production processes, CI methodologies and H&S standards
Commercially minded with experience managing budgets and performance
Hands-on, pragmatic and confident making operational decisions
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
