About the Role
To be employed in this role you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check. Our stores operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, bringing a wide variety of shift patterns – if you're looking for flexible working to fit around your lifestyle, then look no further! We'll work with you on your shifts, but weekend working is a requirement of the role, and we may need to be flexible with your work pattern.
You will be responsible for accurately assembling and processing prescriptions, driving awareness of all the extra services we offer in Pharmacy, supporting the Pharmacist with effective record keeping of patient services, developing an understanding of strict Standard Operating Procedures, and collecting the customer's prescription from their doctor's surgery.
We will help you become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months and then train as a Dispensing Assistant.
Responsibilities
* Accurately assemble and process prescriptions.
* Drive awareness of Pharmacy extra services.
* Support the Pharmacist with patient services record keeping.
* Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures.
* Collect and transport prescriptions from doctors' surgeries.
* Provide warm, friendly customer service.
About You
You are naturally friendly, highly organised, work well with a team, have good computer skills, attention to detail, and communicate well with customers. You love problem solving and are passionate about helping people.
