Role and Team
The Vehicle Inspection Supervisor leads a high-performing team to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will maintain a strong understanding of operational needs and processes, reporting to the manager designated by the General Manager.
Responsibilities
1. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
2. Support operational administration to facilitate vehicle processing through collaboration and communication.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of products, services, and technology to maximize efficiency.
4. Inspect vehicles for damages and ensure compliance with program standards.
5. Understand and utilize daily systems to meet internal and external SLAs.
6. Develop and track KPIs to meet operational and financial targets.
7. Coordinate with Vehicle Inspectors and manage their tasks.
8. Develop and train Vehicle Inspectors, providing performance management and coaching.
9. Communicate directives and schedules effectively, conducting regular employee meetings.
10. Build positive relationships across departments to serve customer accounts.
11. Monitor expenses and staffing levels.
12. Assist in recruiting and hiring.
13. Ensure Vehicle Inspectors meet or exceed performance metrics.
14. Manage scheduling and staffing to meet operational needs.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Experience in auction, vehicle inspection, or body shop estimating (minimum 1 year).
* Supervisory skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
* Proficiency with computer systems.
* Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.

Other Requirements
The role involves light to medium physical activity: standing, walking, touching, and potential emergency movements. Visual acuity similar to clerical or inspection positions is required. The position is inside and outside, with environmental conditions including weather and noise. Background checks are required, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
