Our international client requires an experienced Business Planning & Reporting Specialist to join their team for 12 months.
Role:
Part of the Business Planning & Reporting (BP&R) team, this role plays a key part in ensuring the Customer Division operates efficiently, with all activity areas working towards common objectives.
Reporting to the Business Planning and Reporting Department Manager, the BP&R Specialist will work with senior managers across the division (including European Branches) to build the divisional business plan and update it as required.
The role also includes the preparation of regular performance reports to Europe, senior management, and preparing divisional presentations to the wider organisation. It involves the planning & organisation of a twice-yearly regional conference, handling ad hoc requests from senior management, and supporting the divisional budgeting process if required.
Main Responsibilities:
Business planning:
* Manage the annual business planning process to ensure the timely creation and updating of the divisional business plan (covering Divisions & Branches).
Reporting:
* Provide key business performance reporting, including Weekly Flash Report, monthly site meeting, Monthly & Quarterly Operating Reports, and bi-annual Communication Committee Reports.
* Support Branches with quarterly business plan reviews to senior management
* Prepare ad-hoc reporting as requested.
* Maintain the Divisional Organisation Chart & support budgeting (if required).
Communication and events:
* Planning & organisation of regional business events – e.g., KPI-DOC meetings.
* Prepare ad-hoc presentations requested by the General Manager to share with the business organisation and direction.
Other:
* Administrative support to senior divisional management (raising POs, meeting invitations, and occasional travel booking).
Qualifications, skills, and experience:
Required
* Excellent communication skills, able to work collaboratively with colleagues at all management levels across different activities and locations
* Capable of delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines with limited supervision
* Excellent computer skills – especially Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel
* Strong data analytical skills. Able to plan and organise your own work and others’.
Desirable
* Experience in an automotive or motorcycle aftersales environment.
* Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
* Fluency in another European language.
1. Our client embraces inclusion in their various policies, so whilst their contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, they offer flexibility for when you work. The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half-hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday. However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time starting between 07:00 and 11:00, provided that there is no business requirement.
Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home 2 days per week, again, providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.
This role is offered on a 12-month contract.
