Storyhouse & Storyhouse in the Park – Chester
Storyhouse is seeking an exceptional Head of Food & Beverage to lead all hospitality operations across our award‑winning cultural venues, including Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre. This is a key strategic role, placing hospitality at the heart of our income generation, artistic ambition and visitor experience.
As part of our Extended Leadership Team, you'll shape long‑term strategy and ensure our food and beverage offer reflects our values, creative programme and commitment to accessibility and inclusion.
What you'll do
Provide inspiring leadership across all F&B teams, setting high standards for service, quality and performance.
Build, coach and develop a motivated, customer‑focused team and foster a positive, inclusive culture.
Drive commercial success through clear vision, innovation and strong financial management.
Lead budgeting, forecasting and supplier negotiations, ensuring value, sustainability and robust financial controls.
Oversee operations including stock control, EPOS, cash handling and payroll.
Identify and deliver new revenue opportunities that enhance the visitor experience.
Ensure full compliance with food safety, licensing, health & safety and employment legislation.
Champion excellence in hygiene, allergen awareness, safeguarding, equality and environmental sustainability.
Collaborate across departments to support programming, events and organisational planning.
About you
You're a confident, strategic leader with experience running successful, high‑quality hospitality operations. You combine commercial acumen with creativity, strong people leadership and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Salary - £41,000 per annum
