An exciting position has become available in this CQC rated outstanding Practice, on the outskirts of Doncaster.
We are looking for a highly organised, self motivated individual. With outstanding written communication skills, strong computer skills and an excellent telephone manner to join our busy well established team.
This role is in practice, NOT remote, and will be for 30 hours per week over 5 days Monday to Friday. These are non-negotiable due to practice need.
Main duties of the job
Previous experience in General Practice would be advantageous. Duties will include, but not limited to: communicating with clinicians and patients, typing of referrals, and booking hospital appointments via standard letter format and also specific choose and book software.
Attention to detail, speed and accuracy are crucial.

Job responsibilities
To accurately type referrals, letters and reportsas instructed.
To make various NHS, private and Choose andBook appointments as requested.
To deal with queries when necessary from ICB,NHSE, C&B coordinators, patients, doctors, hospitals etc.
Instruct other members of staff whennecessary how the practice deals with outgoing
referrals.
Send and receive documents and information byphone and email

Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE English grade A (8 or 9)
* A level qualifications or above
Experience
* Working in a busy administration setting where formal written communication was a major component of your responsibility.
* Experience working in the NHS or GP practice
