Job Title: SEMH Tutor – Hillingdon
Location: Hillingdon (in-person tutoring)

Pay Rate: £20–£30 per hour (depending on experience)

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate SEMH Tutor to work with students in Hillingdon who require additional emotional and behavioural support. This role involves one-to-one tutoring for learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including anxiety, low confidence, and low self-esteem. You will be delivering personalised support in Maths and English, helping students re-engage with learning in a safe and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver tailored tutoring sessions in Maths and English
* Work with students at both primary and secondary levels
* Assess learning needs and create individualised schemes of work
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet emotional and educational needs
* Support students in building confidence and developing independent learning skills
* Monitor and report on progress
Requirements:
* Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs
* Confident teaching Maths and English (up to GCSE level)
* Ability to assess, plan and deliver differentiated lessons
* Patient, empathetic, and consistent in approach
* Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
