Major Works Project Manager
Housing Centre, Fairway Trading Estate, Eastergate Road, Brighton, BN2 4QL.
Salary: £48,266 to £51,356 per year. Contractual hours: 37. Basis: Flexi Hours.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and deliver complex high‑profile housing refurbishment projects.
* Develop specifications, pricing documents and tender documents for construction projects.
* Monitor project costs and ensure delivery within budget.
* Manage all elements of construction projects, consulting residents, consultants and contractors, primarily within council‑owned high‑rise stock.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and maintain high standards of resident satisfaction.
* Communicate and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
The role is essential to maintain council housing stock, ensuring resident satisfaction and preventing properties falling into disrepair.
