Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Medical Secretary to join the Gastroenterology Administration Team at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
The candidate will be enthusiastic, highly motivated, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Main Duties
The role involves providing a comprehensive range of secretarial and administrative duties to the Gastroenterology department. This challenging position requires someone who is a team player, flexible, organised, and able to work well under pressure.
Successful candidates should have experience as a typist, qualified to RSA Typing Level II (or equivalent). The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to meet the demands of a busy environment, and to represent the department with professionalism. Speaking Welsh is desirable, though Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.

Qualifications
* NVQ Business Administration Level 3 or equivalent
* RSA/OCR Level 2 or equivalent; must be a proficient user of Microsoft Word

* Knowledge of a range of administrative processes
* Experience working in a busy office environment
* Experience typing
* Experience working within the NHS (desirable)
