They are looking for an Area Sales Representative to join their team, overseeing a set of existing accounts across Basildon. This is a crucial role in building long-term relationships with clients and driving success across the region.

This is a field-based role for candidates based in Basildon or surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients regularly
2. Develop relationships with key stakeholders within accounts
3. Communicate product availability, support staff training, and product merchandising in-store
4. Adopt a flexible approach to each customer account based on business type & location
5. Execute business development activities to maximize sales in the territory
6. Evaluate successes & identify areas for improvement using data and budget support
7. Work towards defined sales targets
The Successful Candidate
* 12+ months experience in a field sales role is preferred
* A background in FMCG is advantageous
* Candidates outside a sales background, such as Retail Store Managers or Field Merchandisers, are encouraged to apply
