Think Recruitment are currently working with a forward-thinking engineering consultancy with a reputation for delivering innovative, sustainable, and high-quality design solutions. With an expanding portfolio of landmark projects across commercial, residential, education, and infrastructure sectors they're looking to strengthen their structural team with the addition of a Structural CAD Technician.
Playing a key role in producing high-quality drawings and digital models for a variety of building and infrastructure projects, working closely with engineers, architects, and designers to bring projects from concept to construction, on a day to day basis the successful candidate will be responsible for;
Developing and revising structural drawings, plans, and details using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Prepare reinforcement, steelwork, and general arrangement drawings to engineer specifications.
Maintain and organise project drawing files in accordance with office standards.
Assist engineers with model coordination, design updates, and drawing quality control.
Ensure all work complies with relevant design codes, company standards, and project requirements.
