Are you a dedicated and adaptable Maths Teacher looking for a fresh challenge this academic year? Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of secondary schools and academies in the Taunton area, and we're looking for confident Maths specialists to support them on a flexible basis.
Whether you're seeking regular supply work, part-time hours, or longer-term placements, we can match you with opportunities that suit your schedule and experience.
* Deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5)
* Support pupils of varying abilities, including those with additional learning needs
* Plan, teach, and assess to ensure pupil progress in line with curriculum expectations
* Adapt quickly to new environments and maintain a positive classroom culture
* Build strong relationships with staff and students across multiple school settings
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or strong relevant experience teaching secondary Maths
* Confident subject knowledge and ability to make Maths engaging and accessible
* Flexible, professional, and able to manage different classroom environments
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Weekly pay through PAYE

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
