We take pride in delivering exceptional workmanship and outstanding customer service and as the business continues to grow we’re looking for a General Manager to help lead the company and support the next stage of Woburn Landscaping.
The Role
This is a full-time role based in Milton Keynes.
We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the day to day running of the business, ensuring jobs are delivered to a high standard, customers are looked after and the team has everything they need to perform at their best.
You’ll work closely with the Managing Director and act as the link between the site teams, suppliers and customers.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the business
* Manage project schedules and workloads
* Support and manage site teams and subcontractors
* Ensure projects are delivered on time and to the expected standard
* Maintain excellent customer communication throughout projects
* Monitor quality control across all works
* Manage suppliers, materials and deliveries
* Help improve systems, processes and efficiency across the business
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding and staff development
* Monitor job profitability and business performance
* Resolve issues quickly and professionally
* Support the continued growth of the company
What We’re Looking For
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple projects at once
* Confident communicator with customers, suppliers and staff
* Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
* Experience in construction, landscaping or a similar industry preferred
* Full UK driving licence
* Someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and getting things done properly
