We’re looking for a wedding-savvy, target-smashing Groups & Events Executive to create unforgettable moments at The Hoxton, Edinburgh. Reporting to the Groups & Events Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing our wedding and social event market, converting enquiries to drive events revenue into The Hoxton, Edinburgh.
The Hoxton in Edinburgh’s West End is our first in Scotland, featuring 214 bedrooms, an open lobby and bar, Patatino, a cinema, The Get Together event space, and The Apartment for meetings and private gatherings. We are a community-focused hotel that combines value, style and a welcoming neighbourhood atmosphere.

What you’ll do
* Be the go-to person for wedding and social groups & events clients, managing bookings from enquiry to execution—proposals, negotiations, contracts, invoices, planning, site visits and follow-ups.
* Lead show rounds and familiarisation events to showcase The Hoxton to prospective couples.
* Know our operation inside out and deliver clear handovers to hotel teams for flawless guest experiences.
* Work solo and with the team to hit targets, identify opportunities, overcome challenges and grow revenue.
* Utilise Hoxton knowledge to win bookings while keeping the team informed.
* Maintain accurate booking systems, track enquiries, generate contracts and invoices, manage deposits and ensure neat, up-to-date handovers.
* Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers, understand guest needs, follow up effectively, and upsell without being pushy.
* Act as a Hoxton ambassador with the guest experience front and centre.
* Contribute to a positive team culture in a fast-paced, multi-property department and support cross-team collaboration.
* Think creatively, challenge norms, and bring fresh ideas to the role.
* Cross-sell across global Hoxton and Ennismore properties where applicable to maximise revenue opportunities.
* Handle daily, weekly and monthly administration and ensure all groups have necessary documentation on file.
* Support the sales team with in-house marketing activities, familiarisation trips, client hospitality evenings, and promotional events as required.
