Director, Global Finance Risk Management & Controls (FRMC), Projects & Change Management
Are you energized by a high-profile finance risk management role that allows you to shape risk programs and challenge organizational thinking to make informed business decisions?
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of qualified, experienced professionals to assess and mitigate finance risk across key finance change processes, finance transformation, system and business model migrations, and global projects.
* Provide strategic insight into risk areas across the key finance processes, finance transformation, and global projects (S4H, J2C, GPO projects, transformation projects) to stakeholders and advocate appropriate cost-efficient, business-practical risk mitigation with key finance, project, and tech leaders.
* Manage the funding model and stakeholder expectations to ensure projects requiring risk input or impacting the financial control environment have appropriate resources.
* Establish engagement models with projects (S4H, GPOs) to ensure timely involvement and governance.
* Drive risk mitigation strategies that consider cost efficiency, digital approaches, and business goals.
* Integrate risk management with project processes such as planning, execution, and monitoring.
* Partner with GPOs to identify automation opportunities and support risk assessment for digital tools within finance processes.
* Report to key stakeholders on project plans, status, and risk mitigation efforts.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
* Qualified accountant or CIA risk qualification
* Experience leading a team in finance risk assessment across change processes
* Strong finance background with understanding of systems and processes
* Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley
* Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Stakeholder engagement and management skills
* Effective communication across functions
* Experience developing financial controls to mitigate risks
* Ability to manage multiple projects
* Leadership and team development skills
