About the Role

As Director of Art you will lead by example, develop, inspire and motivate your team and be committed to achieving high standards. You are enthusiastic about embracing new ideas, maintain a positive attitude and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
* Lead on the development of the Artsmark Platinum Award, including building partnerships with cultural organisations, schools and the local community.
* Lead teaching and lead across the subject area, ensuring successful outcomes.
* Lead the leadership and management of all aspects of the curriculum.
* Monitor the quality and consistency of provision.
Qualifications
* Experience of teaching and leading within the art subject.
* Proven background of achieving successful outcomes.
* Ability to manage and develop a team.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
