Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee 3–5 live high‑rise residential projects across Birmingham
* Lead project teams to ensure delivery on programme, budget, quality, and safety targets
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
* Support Project Managers and Site Teams in resolving operational and commercial issues
* Monitor project performance, reporting progress and risks to senior leadership
* Ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations and company standards
* Drive programme, procurement, and resource planning across multiple schemes
* Maintain strong relationships with clients and external partners to support repeat business opportunities
* Attend regular client meetings and lead progress reviews
* Promote a positive health & safety culture across all sites
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Contracts Manager or Project Director within a main contractor environment
* Proven track record delivering large‑scale residential or mixed‑use developments valued at £50m+
* Strong experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent client‑facing and stakeholder management skills
* Strong leadership and team management capability
* Commercial awareness with a good understanding of construction contracts and programme management
* Experience delivering high‑rise residential schemes is essential
* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications preferred
* Experience working within the Birmingham or wider Midlands market
* Stable career history with recognised main contractors
* Ability to lead from pre‑construction through to completion
