ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Room Service Manager, as Room Service Waiter/Waitress, you will play a key role in our guest’s stay with us, by serving them food and drinks in he comfort of their own rooms and making them feel like they are in a home away from home.
Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel’s opening and beyond. We are looking for people who as detail-oriented, a people-person and works well under pressure!
As Room Service Waiter/Waitress, key aspects of your role will include:
1. Ensuring food and drinks are perfectly presented before serving to guests
2. Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests in their rooms
3. Answer any questions on the menu selection, including how food has been prepared, any modifications that can be made, and what allergens are present
4. Communicate with the kitchen regarding questions, length of wait, product availability, meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests
5. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass and silverware before serving it to guests
6. Restock items
7. Present physical and accurate check to guests and process payments on service
8. Follow health and safety guidelines and policies to report accidents and injuries
