Robert Half Finance & Accounting are partnering with a Retail Company in London to recruit an immediate, temporary fixed term Purchase Ledger Clerk for 9 months.
Role:
Our client is looking for an immediate Fixed Term, Purchase Ledger Clerk to assist them for 9 months. You will be responsible for following duties:
* Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner
* Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (three-way matching)
* Ensure proper approval and coding of invoices according to company policies
* Prepare and execute payment runs (e.g., bank transfers, checks)
* Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
* Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records
* Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues
* Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting
* Monitor aging reports and ensure timely payments
* Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations
* Ensure compliance with financial controls and company procedures
* Mulit currency and stock invoice processing
Profile:
The successful temporary Purchase Ledger clerk will either be a Finance graduate looking to gain entry level finance experience or have over 2 years experience.
You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.

Salary & Benefits:
This role is paying between £35,000-£40,000 pro rata.
