We're currently working with a well-established civil engineering contractor who is looking to bring in an experienced Civil Engineer to support a large-scale bulk earthworks project. This is a key role on a major scheme and would suit someone with strong earthworks experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The Role: You'll play a key part in the day-to-day engineering and delivery of the project, working closely with the Site Manager and Senior Engineer to ensure works are carried out safely, on programme, and in line with design and specification. Key responsibilities include: ·Setting out for bulk earthworks, including cut & fill operations ·Carrying out volume calculations and supporting material management ·Interpreting drawings, models, and specifications ·Producing and reviewing RAMS and ensuring works are carried out safely ·Monitoring progress and reporting against programme ·Quality control, inspections, and maintaining accurate site records ·Coordinating with subcontractors, plant operators, and site teams ·Supporting planning and sequencing of works to maximise efficiency ·Assisting with as-built surveys and documentation What we're looking for: ·Proven experience on bulk earthworks or large-scale civils projects ·Strong setting out skills using GPS/total station equipment &middo...
