Join our Pharma Services team and be a part of a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) offering end-to-end services for drug development, clinical trial logistics, and commercial manufacturing Biotech and biopharma companies trust us for our speed, flexibility, and quality across every phase of drug development. With worldwide locations, we support active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), biologics, cell therapy, viral vectors, formulation, clinical trials, logistics, commercial manufacturing, and packaging. Our Clinical Trials team supports pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and contract research organizations (CROs) in conducting efficient and successful clinical trials Our dedicated colleagues provide comprehensive clinical supply chain services, including packaging, labelling, and distribution. We also offer support to streamline trial processes, improve data quality, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You'll be based at our facility in Horsham, where you'll contribute to our mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Position Summary:

This is an excellent opportunity to build specialist expertise in serialisation within a global, regulated environment.

You'll develop hands-on experience with industry-leading systems such as TraceLink, Codesoft, TrackWise, and EDMS, working closely with engineering, quality, operations, and external suppliers. With structured training and exposure to real production challenges, you'll progress toward becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) while building highly transferable technical and compliance skills.

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, continuous learning, and making a tangible contribution to patients and product integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

* Learn, operate, and support serialisation systems in line with SOPs, GMP, and GEP.
* Support internal and external serialisation issues, including investigations and file repair activities.
* Develop and maintain serialisation equipment recipes for production.
* Retrieve and analyse data from automation and serialisation systems to support production and quality needs.
* Participate in engineering and validation testing related to serialisation connectivity.
* Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve equipment and system issues.
* Support engineering activities including preventative maintenance (PPMs) and machine breakdown response.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and compliance.
* Participate in team meetings, ensuring clear communication and effective handovers.
* Manage assigned work effectively to meet agreed timelines.
* Work safely and responsibly to support an incident-free workplace.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

* Relevant engineering qualification and/or equivalent experience.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
* Experience in a pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated environment is advantageous but not essential.
