IT Technician
Location: Merstham
Schedule: 36-hour week - office based, 9:00-16:30
Salary: £15.00 per hour
Contract: Full-Time Temporary - 6-8 weeks
Requirements: DBS clearance
Are you experienced in IT? Do you have a willingness to work flexibly? If so, our client is looking for a Regional IT Technician! You will work as part of a busy team providing first and second line support in the field.
This role involves supporting a range of systems and users with varying skills. The key focus is to provide solutions to issues affecting all aspects of IT.

Key Responsibilities:
* Resolve first and some second line incidents within agreed timescales
* Record incident details and resolutions in the client’s Service Desk
* Provide a high level of first-time fix for incidents
* Escalate incidents as needed to ensure minimal downtime
* Communicate regularly with customers until incidents are resolved
* Maintain and contribute to documentation
* Assist the Service Desk with site visits for incidents that cannot be resolved remotely
* Provide basic end-user training as required
* Work with the Regional IT Partner on strategic planning and improvements
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional IT Partner and Head of Application & Service Delivery
