We are seeking a Lead Simulation Engineer to establish and lead the organisation's new team advancing capabilities in the approval of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Automated Driving Systems (ADS).
As vehicle technologies evolve, simulated evidence plays an increasingly critical role in type approvals. You'll drive the development and validation of simulation tools and methods to ensure compliance with UNECE regulations - initially focusing on vehicle dynamic behaviour, with scope to expand into wider simulation applications.
Responsibilities
Lead the establishment and direction of the new simulation team for ADAS/ADS type approvals.
Drive the development and validation of simulation tools and methods to ensure UNECE regulatory compliance, starting with vehicle dynamic behaviour and expanding to broader simulation applications.
Essential skills and experience
* Proficiency with industry-standard software for evaluating vehicle dynamics in ADAS/ADS contexts.
* Proven experience validating simulation models against experimental data.
Desirable
* Degree (Level 6 or above) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
