Social Care Recruitment is seeking compassionate, resilient, and dedicated Residential Support Workers to support children and young people aged 8‑17 with learning disabilities and emotional/behavioural needs.
Shifts are available: day, night, or a combination that suits you.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide consistent emotional, practical, and behavioural support.
* Maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive environment.
* Promote independence through structured routines and life skills coaching.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with young people.
* Support individuals with challenging behaviours, trauma, and complex needs.
* Participate in in‑house and community‑based activities.
* Work collaboratively as part of a committed, child‑focused team.
* Follow safeguarding principles and Children’s Home Regulations (Ofsted).
We’re Looking For
* Full‑time availability (Essential).
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (Essential).
* Minimum 6 months UK social care experience (children or adults).
* A proactive, resilient, and confident approach.
* A genuine passion for supporting young people.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred but can be arranged).
